FITZROY INN
Nestled in the heart of the Southern Highlands, Fitzroy Inn is a beautifully restored 1830's heritage property offering a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Surrounded by established gardens and peaceful countryside, the inn provides the perfect setting to slow down, unwind, and immerse yourself in a weekend of books, conversation, and simple pleasures. With cosy communal spaces and plenty of quiet corners to retreat to, Fitzroy Inn feels like a home away from home for book lovers.

YOUR WEEKEND AT A GLANCE
THURSDAY
Guests will arrive throughout the afternoon and evening, allowing plenty of time to settle into Fitzroy Inn and ease into the slower pace of the weekend. After a welcome dinner, we'll gather for a relaxed book swap with our gifted books and an evening of conversation with fellow readers.
FRIDAY
Friday is dedicated to exploring some of the Southern Highlands' most beloved destinations. We'll travel together by private bus, enjoying a long lunch at Berkelouw Book Barn, browsing bookstores in Bowral, and finishing the day with a wine tasting at Artemis Wines before returning to the inn for dinner.
SATURDAY
Saturday offers a slower pace, with plenty of time to enjoy the inn and its surroundings. Guests can participate in Courtney Peppernell's exclusive poetry workshop, spend time reading, and join optional crafts and activities throughout the day, with no pressure to do anything other than relax.
SUNDAY
The weekend concludes with a leisurely hot breakfast and a final chance to enjoy the company of fellow guests before check-out at 10:00am. For those not ready to head straight home, we recommend taking the scenic route and spending a little longer exploring the Southern Highlands.

Located within Fitzroy Inn's newly refurbished apartment accommodation, this room offers additional living space, a kitchenette, and modern comforts not found in the standard guest rooms. Perfect for groups of friends travelling together, it combines the social side of a shared retreat experience with the benefits of extra room to spread out and unwind.
