Hi, I’m Annabel.

I’m a lifelong reader, an introverted extrovert, and someone who deeply believes in the power of stories to bring people together. I read across almost every genre (though I’ll admit non-fiction still challenges me), and I’m exceptionally passionate about the Australian literary scene and the remarkable voices within it.

After attending bookish events myself, I saw something special - a vibrant community people were eager to be part of, yet not always fully comfortable stepping into alone. I wanted to create events that feel genuinely welcoming and inclusive. Spaces where you can arrive solo and leave feeling part of something meaningful.
With a background in events and strong ties to the Australian literary community, I’m deeply involved in every experience we host. I’ll be dining alongside you, guiding conversation, and gently shaping the rhythm of the weekend - all while managing the details behind the scenes to ensure everything feels seamless and thoughtfully considered.
